Outsourcing - "strategic decisions"

Most medium sized enterprises of the German mechanical engineering industry are largely affected by the poor conditions of their location. Whereas larger corporations can shift their focus of investments to foreign countries the majority of SME's has few alternatives only. That is why more and more companies are investing these days in the outsourcing of those production processes which are not part of their core business.

The decision in favor of outsourcing is the result of an enterprising strategy. Time and again industrial plants put their productivity areas on the test bed and weigh up carefully their own production and outside procurement. No entrepreneur will ignore the specialized advantages of an external service provider.
